Bucks County school and church sites to be developed

Bucks County residents could soon see development on the sites of a vacant middle school and a former church and school.

On Monday, Bensalem school board authorized district officials to enter an agreement to sell the vacant Neil A. Armstrong Middle School on Street Road for $6.25 million, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.

The sale, which includes both the building and the 30-acre property, is to a company called 2201 Street Road LLC. The school has been sitting empty since 2011.
