Flurry of activity among Northwest Phila. apartment owners



Another Northwest Philadelphia apartment building is on the market, a move that allows the landlord to seize on buyer's recent interest in other nearby residential properties.

Located at 45 E. Cliveden St. in Mount Airy, the 40-unit Cliveden is being marketed by Caleb Brown of Greysteel, a commerical real estate service firm.

The construction of a new high school at The Lab School may look pretty typical — until you meet the most unique worker on the site.

SAM100, which stands for semi-automated mason, is increasing productivity for Clark Construction Group LLC as the world's first commercially available robot used for on-site brick placement. Clark began work in November 2014 on a 29,000-square-foot high school in the Palisades neighborhood for The Lab School, and was joined by SAM about a week ago.

St. Luke’s eyes medical school in Bethlehem Township



Though St. Luke’s University Health Network completed its newest hospital nearly four years ago on its 500-acre property in Bethlehem Township, the organization is eyeing future expansion, including a potential medical school.

The news comes on the heels of St. Luke’s touting the end of a $15 million road improvement and expansion project for Freemansburg Avenue outside its newest hospital – The St. Luke’s Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township. The project is divided into three parts, with an estimated total cost of about $35 million not including design costs, officials said.
