A labor group is suing Winola Construction Corp. and
William E. Buckley, citing alleged breach of contract.
Carpenters Combined Funds Inc., by James R. Klein,
administrator, filed a complaint on Oct. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the
Western District of Pennsylvania against the defendants, alleging that they
failed to pay monthly contribution to the labor group.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it
suffered damages as the result of unpaid and late paid fringe benefit
contributions. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly
breaching a bargaining agreement by not paying monthly contributions on behalf
of its employees.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in
the amount of $4,176.60 plus interest and court costs. It is represented by
Jeffrey J. Leech and Neil J. Gregorio of Tucker Arensberg, P.C. in Pittsburgh.
