Company gets $138M to move to Camden

ResinTech Inc., a company that makes a range of products for the wastewater treatment plants, will move its headquarters to Camden after receiving $138 million in tax credits from the state’s Grow N.J. economic development program.

The company is now based at 160 Cooper Road in West Berlin, N.J.

Its move will bring 265 jobs to Camden in addition to another 55 new employees that will staff a new manufacturing facility at Federal Street and River Road that will be part of the project.

Some of the jobs that will go to Camden will be relocated from Pennsylvania, Maryland, California and New Jersey. ResinTech is the parent company to Action-Pak in Bristol, Pennsylvania; ACM Technologies in Forest Hill, Maryland; Aries FilterWorks in Berlin, New Jersey; and VMX Technologies in Berlin, New Jersey.

The company was formed in 1986 by Michael Gottlieb in the basement of his Cherry Hill home. It remains a private family company.
