Annual Ranking Showcases The Fastest-Growing Urban Businesses In America

(Philadelphia, PA) The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) and Fortune Magazine have announced that one of Philadelphia’s leading construction companies, Perryman Building and Construction, is ranked 29th out of 100 on their 2016 Inner City 100 list. Nearly 900 of America’s preeminent inner city businesses were evaluated for this distinction. The rankings for the Inner City 100 were announced at the ICIC Conference and Awards Ceremony on September 14, 2016 in Boston, MA.


According to Angelo Perryman, President of Perryman Building and Construction, “Sixty years ago this was a dream of my father’s. Today, it is the American Dream come true. ICIC’s Inner City 100 is an annually compiled and released listing featuring innovative, entrepreneurial, fast-growing businesses from around the country with headquarters located in inner cities. Ranked by revenue growth, Perryman Building and Construction reported 2015 revenues of $21.36M and a five-year growth rate of381% percent from 2011-2015.
