Southern California-based Watson Land Co. is again
expanding its industrial building portfolio in the Lehigh Valley, its second
property on the East Coast.
The company bought 9670 West Hills Court, a 21-acre
property in Weisenberg Township, Lehigh County, for $25,200,978 from Hillwood
Investment Properties, according to Lehigh County assessment records.
The property is an industrial site in the West Hills Business
Center.
Earlier this year, the company bought its first
distribution building at 9658 West Hills Court in Lehigh County for $43 million
from Hillwood, based in Dallas, Texas.
The industrial park is along the Interstate 78 corridor
at exit 45.
Watson, headquartered in Carson, a city in Los Angeles
County, has been embarking on a strategic process to acquire more industrial
land in the Lehigh Valley, according to the company.
Officials were not available for comment on the
Weisenberg Township acquisition.
