The Towson, Md., office of York Township-based Kinsley
Construction Inc. is handling construction of a seven-story residential tower
in Towson for Maryland-based Federal Realty Investment Trust.
The Flats@703, a 161,800-square-foot building at 703
Washington Ave., will include 105 market-rate apartment units, a rooftop deck
and a two-story parking garage.
Cost of construction was not disclosed. Residents are
expected to occupy the new tower by summer 2017, according to Kinsley.
Federal Realty owns several Pennsylvania properties, including
the Lancaster Shopping Center at the intersection of the Oregon and Lititz
pikes in Manheim Township.
Shares of the company are traded on the New York Stock
Exchange under the ticker symbol FRT.
Kinsley is the largest
general contractor, ranked by revenue, in the Business Journal's coverage area.
