Harrisburg-based H.B. McClure Co., one of the largest commercial
and residential mechanical contractors in the midstate, continues to add to its
ranks through acquisitions.
The company's latest deal, its 11th since 2010, closed
today as it added Mainhart Mechanical LLC, a four-person company in the
Dillsburg area.
"We are becoming known as a firm that can put deals
together that benefit the seller's interests, their clients' interests, as well
as the employee owners of H.B. McClure," said Jeri Donadee, the company's
vice president.
Founded in 2004, Franklin Township-based Mainhart
Mechanical is a family-owned and operated mechanical contractor that
specializes in residential plumbing, heating and air conditioning repair,
installation and construction services.
H.B. McClure now has more than 400 employees and a fleet
of more than 200 service trucks in the midstate. In November, the
employee-owned company acquired Green Mechanical LLC
in Upper Allen Township.
H.B. McClure's last major acquisition came in 2014 when
it added I.T. Landes & Son Inc., a Montgomery County-based mechanical
services firm with 110 employees.
The company finished with $66.7 million in revenue last
year, up from $65.4 million in 2014.
