If downtown redevelopment is your passion, listen up: the
Northern York County School District is marketing its administrative building
in Dillsburg for $495,000.
Lemoyne-based RSR Realtors is listing the nearly
15,000-square-foot, three-story building at 149 S.
Baltimore St.
Built in 1914, the building was used as an elementary
school for 25 years before the district took it over in 1982.
The district is selling the building and moving
administrative offices into renovated space in another former school. The
property for sale is two blocks from the Dillsburg square.
It has been retrofitted for office use but has potential
for apartments or other uses.
"A developer with fresh ideas can use this building
to get engaged in downtown revitalization and the growing interest in the borough's
rich history," said Niko Corado, the listing agent.
The site has 18 existing parking spaces, but that could
be expanded by razing an annex building.
