Listrak, a Lititz-based technology company, is ramping up
plans to relocate its headquarters to Warwick Township.
Listrak announced that it bought 27 acres of land to
construct a building large enough to house at least 350 employees, according to
co-founder and CEO Ross Kramer.
Details about the new building are not yet available, but
the land is located on Millport and Buckwalter roads, across from the
construction site for a personal care facility.
Township officials are still reviewing Listrak's building
plans.
Until the new building is complete, Listrak’s
headquarters remain in Lititz Borough. It has two additional offices in Manheim
Township with a third on its way. A short-term lease also is in the works for a
commercial property in Lititz.
The goal in purchasing land and building new is to
consolidate all of those offices in one location, according to Kramer.
Its current headquarters at 529 East Main Street was sold
in the fourth quarter to Ephrata-based Garman Builders Inc. in preparation for
the move.
The move accommodates the company’s recent growth.
In 2015, Listrak reported an estimated 38 percent
increase in revenue over the previous year. In 2014, Listrak had sales of $25
million, according to a June 2015 article in the Business Journal.
The company doubled its staff between 2013 and 2015, and
its employee count grew nearly 50 percent in 2015.
“The growth is fueled by a couple of things,” Kramer
said.
Listrak, which offers digital marketing platforms to
retailers, decided to focus exclusively on helping mid-market retailers.
Kramer defined mid-market retailers as those making about
$25 million to about $1 billion in sales.
“What we found is those retailers should, at the minimum,
be driving about 25 percent of their revenue through email, but a lot of them
were only driving about 10 percent of their revenue through email,” Kramer
said.
Listrak is currently working with about 1,000 retailers.
Aside from its Pennsylvania locations, Listrak also has
an office in Newport Beach, Calif., to serve clients on the West Coast.
It employs 215 people in California, Pennsylvania and
other states where employees work remotely.
