Blue Bell, Horsham buildings among those sold in Brandywine transaction



Croton Road Corporate Center in King of Prussia, Pa., 910 Harvest Drive in Blue Bell, Pa., and 120 W. Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting, Pa., were among the 11 suburban office buildings Brandywine Realty Trust recently sold in a $400 million transaction, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.


The real estate investment trust sold 58 office properties totaling 3.9 million square feet to affiliates of Och Ziff Capital Management Group as part of a plan to get rid of suburban office buildings that it no longer wants to hold onto. When it announced the transaction, the real estate company didn't disclose which properties were involved but did detail them in an SEC filing.
As part of the deal, Brandywine (NYSE: BDN) sold buildings in the Philadelphia suburbs as well as South Jersey, Richmond, Va., and in Fairfax, Va.

Blue Bell

  • 980 Harvest Drive
  • 920 Harvest Drive
  • 925 Harvest Drive

Horsham

  • One Progress Drive
  • 500 Enterprise Road

Plymouth Meeting

  • 2240/2250 Butler Pike
  • 140 West Germantown Pike
  • 2260 Butler Pike

In South Jersey, the company sold 10 buildings totaling 557,144 square feet. Nine of the 10 properties are in Mount Laurel: 700 East Gate Drive, 701 East Gate Drive, 815 East Gate Drive, 817 East Gate Drive, 303 Fellowship Road, 305 Fellowship Road, 307 Fellowship Road, and 309 Fellowship Road, and, in Moorestown, N.J., 308 Harper Drive.
