Warfel breaks ground on $4.3M memory care facility

East Hempfield Township-based Warfel Construction Co. recently broke ground on a $4.3 million memory care facility in Easton.

The 29,000-square-foot Arden Courts Memory Care building is part of the HCR ManorCare family. The single-story facility will house 64 residents in four wings.

Each wing includes a dining area, lounges and a nurses’ station.

The 10-month project, which is slated for a September completion, also features community and health centers, a cafe and various resident services, such as a store, beauty salon and library.

Warfel was No. 5 last year on the Business Journal's general contractors list, finishing with $92.5 million in revenue for 2013.

The company finished 2014 with about $110 million in revenue, said Jennifer Saltzer, director of client services.
