Liberty Property Trust breaks ground on New Jersey building

Liberty Property Trust, confident in the South Jersey industrial market, has broken ground on a speculative warehouse building in Gloucester County.

The last time Liberty completed a speculative development in Gloucester County was in 2009.

The Malvern, Pa., real estate investment trust is constructing a 200,000-square-foot building at 2277 Center Square Road in Logan, N.J. The property is off Exit 10 of I-295.

The company continues to be bullish on the industrial markets along the New Jersey Turnpike.

“With easy access to Philadelphia and the surrounding areas via the Commodore Barry Bridge and with its proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike, Gloucester County continues to attract substantial space users seeking well-located and high-quality warehouse and distribution buildings,” said Mark Goldstein, vice president at Liberty.
