Mid-Atlantic's top contractors, design firms unveiled by ENR

Several of the midstate's largest general contractors and design firms made this year's lists of top Mid-Atlantic firms compiled by trade publication Engineering News-Record, or ENR.

The magazine ranks firms based on total revenue.

On the general contractor side, here are the local companies that earned a regional ranking:

·         Kinsley Construction Inc.: No. 17 in the Mid-Atlantic and No. 9 in Pennsylvania, with Mid-Atlantic revenue last year of $409.9 million.

·         Wohlsen Construction Co.: No. 26 in the Mid-Atlantic and No. 11 in Pennsylvania, with Mid-Atlantic revenue last year of $229.5 million

·         Wagman Inc.: No. 28 in the Mid-Atlantic, with Mid-Atlantic revenue of $206 million.

·         Butz Enterprises Inc.: No. 33 in the Mid-Atlantic and No. 14 in Pennsylvania, with Mid-Atlantic revenue of $155.6 million.

·         Warfel Construction Co.: No. 35 in the Mid-Atlantic and No. 15 in Pennsylvania, with Mid-Atlantic revenue of $131.1 million.

On the design side, here are the top local companies:

·         Gannett Fleming Inc.: No. 6 in the Mid-Atlantic with $142.8 million in revenue.

·         Herbert, Rowland & Grubic Inc.: No. 34 in the Mid-Atlantic with $25.7 million in revenue.

·         Advantage Engineers LLC: No. 42 in the Mid-Atlantic with $19 million in revenue.

·         Erdman Anthony: No. 43 in the Mid-Atlantic with $18.8 million in revenue.

·         Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates: No. 46 in the Mid-Atlantic with $17.1 million in revenue.

·         Buchart Horn Inc.: No. 47 in the Mid-Atlantic with $17 million in revenue.

·         Brinjac Engineering: No. 67 in the Mid-Atlantic with $8.3 million in revenue.
