Textile Lofts, a mixed-use property in the Fitler Square
neighborhood of Philadelphia, has sold for $8 million.
The two-building complex was sold by Grasso Holdings, a
Philadelphia real estate company that converted the structures in 2011. Alterra
Property, also of Philadelphia, was the buyer.
Ken Mallin and Josh Nadel of MPN Real Estate arranged the
transaction. Interest in the property was high and it had “tons” of offers,
Mallin said.
The property. at 21st and South streets, consists of
26,000 square feet of retail space and houses such tenants as Honey’s Sit N’
Eat. It also has 29 apartments, all of which were fully occupied at the time of
sale. The property includes a 23-vehicle parking lot that can be developed.
