Harrisburg-based Alexander Building Construction Co. has
started on a 29,100-square-foot expansion of Susquehanna Health's Williamsport
Regional Medical Center.
The project includes expanding the facility's operating room and surgical
services suites.
Hospital operations and patient services will continue
uninterrupted during construction, according to Alexander.
Construction is slated to wrap up in October. Alexander
would not disclose the contract amount.
Alexander is part of Allentown-based
Butz Enterprises Inc.
