Petrucci starts construction on $7.5M flex office

Demand for flex construction in Lehigh County continues with the latest announcement of a $7.5 million project.

J.G. Petrucci Co. Inc., which has locations in Bethlehem and Asbury, N.J., started construction on a 110,000-square-foot multi-tenant flex space office building on Morris Court in Upper Macungie Township near Interstate 78 and Route 22.

The first class flex space at 7522 Morris Court is on schedule to be completed in March, according to the design/build firm.

The firm is in the process of working on finalizing two leases covering 70,000 square feet, said Amy Mirandoli, spokeswoman for the developer. The building has 40,000 square feet available, she said.

In addition to easy transit access, the firm chose that location because there is a great labor force in the Lehigh Valley, said Jim Petrucci, president.

The flex building will feature 30 foot ceilings and on-site parking, making the property available for a diverse range of tenants.

Kraft Foods, Omnilift, Millard Refrigerated Services and Behr Process Corp. are among the neighbors of the Morris Court flex building.

M&T Bank is financing the project.
