FedEx Freight union vote is over in New Jersey; Philly, you're next

The first-ever unionization vote in FedEx Freight's history is over, but the issue is far from settled.

Drivers at FedEx Freight, a subsidiary of Memphis-based shipping giant FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), have rejected a Teamsters proposal to unionize at the terminal in Cinnaminson, New Jersey, according to trade publication Transport Topics.

But, according to the report, a second vote is happening today in Philadelphia.

The Teamsters union is working to establish unions at FedEx Freight facilities across the U.S., as we've previously reported.
