Slot machine revenue was down across Pennsylvania’s 12
casinos in July, with The Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem and the Mount Airy
Casino Resort in Mount Pocono also recording decreases.
Overall slot revenue was 1.7 percent lower than it was for
July 2013.
The casinos took in $201.4 million in slot revenue in July
as compared to $204.9 million in July 2013.
There were also fewer total slot machines. There were 26,400
slot machines in the 12 casinos in July 2014 as compared to 26,593 in July
2013.
The Sands saw a decrease of .28 percent from $24.5 million
in July 2013 to $24.4 million in July 2014
Mount Airy saw a decline of 1.8 percent from $13.4 million
in July 2013 to $13.2 million in July 2014.
