How labor is smoothing the way for new mega-airline

The glide path appears to be smooth for that brand-new mega-airline, American Airlines Group, according to the Wall Street Journal.

That's because labor groups, and the employees they represent, are already clued in to their pay and benefits, unlike when airlines of yesteryear went through mergers that were far, far messier.

This merger is a biggie. It brings together U.S. Airways and American Airlines, creating the world's biggest airline.
