Gaming regulators will give the public more time to comment
on Philadelphia’s casino proposals.
The deadline for written public comment on the Category 2
licensing matter has been extended from Nov. 28 to Dec. 31, the Pennsylvania
Gaming Control Board said Monday.
There are five proposals for one remaining casino license.
The next suitability hearings will be held at the
Pennsylvania Convention Center over three days: Jan. 28, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Jan. 29, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Jan. 30, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For now, Pennsylvania has 12 casinos.
