Philadelphia has
passed new LGBT legislation stating that all new or renovated city buildings
must have gender neutral bathrooms in addition to men's and women's rooms.
That's according
to this story on
Advocate.com. The legislation also "offers tax credits to companies that
provide LGBT-inclusive employee benefits, amends the city's nondiscrimination
ordinance to be inclusive of gender identity, and offers some relationship
recognition rights for same-sex couples," the story said.
Mayor Michael
Nutter said that he hopes Philadelphia becomes “the most LGBT-friendly” city in
the world.
