Bricklayers union says Criniti Construction failed to make timely contributions

A local union is suing Criniti Construction Inc. and Joe Criniti, citing alleged breach of contract.
Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 1 of PA/DE and its associated employee benefit funds filed a complaint on June 16 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to remit their employees' contributions to the labor funds.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was damaged due to unpaid and late payments. The plaintiffs hold Criniti Construction and Criniti responsible because they allegedly breached their agreement with the labor group when they failed to make the payments.

The plaintiffs seek $45,899.28 in contributions owed, as well as interest, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Robert P. Curley of O'Donoghue & O'Donoghue LLP in Philadelphia.
