Holy Redeemer Health System, looking to further expand
its reach into Bucks County, will be the lead tenant of a new
36,000-square-foot health center expected to open in Warminster, Pa., this
summer – one of three new facilities set for the Philly surburbs.
Construction began this week on the two-story medical
complex at 201 Veterans Way that is being developed by the MRA Group. The
facility will offer a variety of radiology, population health and laboratory
services and be the home of primary and specialty physician practices.
The center is one of three new locations Holy Redeemer
has planned in Bucks County for 2016, according to Marian Thallner, the health
system’s executive vice president.
The Montgomery County-based health system's other future
health care facility locations in Bucks County, being developed in a
collaboration with the MRA Group, are at 23 Bustleton Pike in Feasterville and
at a new mixed use development at 922 Second Street Pike in Richboro.
“The [Warminster] facility is being developed using a
methodology called ‘dreamscaping’ that uses design to foster the best possible
experience for patients, their families and caregivers,” Thallner said.
“Through the process, we are seeking to ‘re-imagine’ health care to deliver
memorable and personal outpatient services.”
The Feasterville site, a former supermarket, is expected
to open by April 2016. The Richboro site at the former Davis Pontiac lot, is
expected to open in October.
Holy Redeemer Health System, parent company for Holy
Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook, Pa., already operates two other sites in
Bucks County: an ambulatory care and physician services center in Bensalem and
an outpatient women’s health center in Southampton.
