The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church has
renewed its lease at 2000 Market St. in Philadelphia.
The deal solidifies its presence in the office tower for
another 12 years. The nonprofit has been in the building since 1996 and will
occupy 76,998 square feet.
The lease with the board of pensions is the third
Rosemont Realty, the building’s landlord, has secured in recent months. Those
three deals, including the one with the board of pensions, total 114,166 square
feet and involve Aetna (20,657 square feet) and accounting firm Shechtman Marks
Devor (15,611 square feet).
The building is 97 percent occupied and among its other
tenants are Zurich Insurance Group and law firms Fox Rothschild and Marshall
Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin.
Rosemont of Sante Fe, N.M., bought 2000 Market in March
2013. It is a 29-story, 665,649-square-foot building.
Joe Wolff and Kevin Maloney with CBRE represented
Rosemont Realty in the transaction. Nick Gersbach, also with CBRE, represented
the Board of Pensions.
