GMCS Editorial: Congratulations to Jerry Gorksi
and the entire Gorksi Engineering
team on advancing this project.
MILFORD TWP., Pa. - It's been a year in the making, and
now developers at what will be the Milford Commerce Center said they finally
have a concrete deal.
"We have an agreement to develop this lot across the
street," said developer Jerry Gorski.
Gorksi said a new daycare center called Kiddie Academy
will move onto the plot of land near the Quakertown interchange of the
Pennsylvania Turnpike.

"We have started the approval process in early summer of 2014 and we just
got final approval from the town supervisors," said Gorski.
The daycare will be the first tenant at the Commerce
Center. There's space for three more buildings. Gorski first got approval to
develop the site one year ago. Since then, he's been hitting the pavement,
marketing the area to potential businesses.
He said he is finally making some progress.
"A more conventional machine shop, a buildings
services company, and a manufacturing company that we are in active
negotiations with," said Gorski.
The daycare center is expected to create at least a dozen
jobs. The prospective businesses would create many more. It's all expected to
invigorate the local economy.
Gorski said up to 600 jobs could be created if this
entire site and a site across the street are fully built up.
Construction on the daycare is expected to begin in the
spring.
