New Jersey Turnpike Authority inks $33.7M deal with local construction management company



Hill International (NYSE:HIL) has received a four-year contract from the New Jersey Turnpike Authority valued at $33.7 million.


Hill will provide construction management and inspection services in support of NJTA's Facilities Improvement Program. The company has been providing program management services for the NJTA since 2012.

Hill will focus on bringing the facilities on the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway up-to-date. In a statement, the company highlighted five projects it aims to tackle:
  • Construction of four state police stations.
  • Rehabilitation of toll facilities on the New Jersey Turnpike at 23 locations.
  • Upgrades to 16 maintenance districts located on both the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike.
  • Construction of a backup traffic/data management center.
  • Construction of a central inventory facility.
Hill has 4,600 professionals in 100 offices worldwide.
