The 44,000-square-foot office building leased by the
state Department of Health on Herr Street in Susquehanna Township was recently
sold to a Chester County investment group, according to Landmark Commercial
Realty Inc., the broker that represented the buyer and seller.
Herr Street Investors LP paid $4.02 million to acquire
the property at 2150 Herr St., according to Dauphin County deed records.
Jason Grace, Landmark's senior vice president of sales
and leasing and the buyer’s representative on the deal, said the building was
bought as an investment, with plans to expand the facility by 40,000 square
feet. The addition could bring in up to three additional tenants, he said.
Planning is underway for the future expansion, he said.
