Butz Corporate Center at Ninth and Hamilton streets in
Allentown has acquired two additional tenants who will occupy a total of 8,000
square feet of office space on the fourth floor.
“We are constantly encouraged by the number of firms
wanting to relocate to center city Allentown to become part of the city’s
revitalization,” said Greg L. Butz, president and CEO of Alvin H. Butz Inc.
The companies, Specialized Career Search and United
Employment Group, are separately owned by two brothers: Larry Stauffer and
Michael Stauffer, respectively.
“With both of our companies continuing to expand and
grow, it felt natural to relocate to Allentown, a city we grew up in that is
also currently enjoying a period of revitalization and growth,” Larry Stauffer
said. “The Butz Corporate Center is right in the heart of that revitalization,
and we are eager to become a part of it.”
Both Specialized Career Search and United Employment
Group are considered “search and placement” firms that have a goal of placing
prospective employees into jobs that best fit their talents and skills.
Specialized Career Search focuses primarily on the
mining, energy and heavy process industries, whereas United Employment Group
specializes in finding people jobs in the concrete products and construction,
metals, and refrigeration industries.
