Harrisburg-based Alexander Building Construction Co. has
completed construction of a roughly $5 million campus cafe at Indiana
University of Pennsylvania.
The 13,000-square-foot cafe has multiple dining venues,
including a Starbucks. It can seat more than 400 people.
The facility also features a centralized supporting
kitchen and both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
The Crimson Cafe was Alexander's first project at IUP.
The company will start on a 45,000-square-foot dining hall this fall.
The Harrisburg firm is part of Allentown-based Butz
Enterprises Inc.
Alexander posted 2013 revenue of $74.3 million, according
to Business Journal records. That was up from $51.3 million in 2012.
