Forrester Construction Co. founder Rick Forrester, who
started the Rockville-based construction firm in 1988, died over the weekend,
the company announced Wednesday morning. Neither his age nor the cause of death
were reported.
Forrester was one of three bothers involved with the
company, ranked seventh among the D.C area's largest interior construction
firms with $330 million in revenue in 2012. Also part of the company was David
Forrester, who is Forrester Construction's president and chief executive, and
Scott Forrester.
The company did not disclose details of Rick Forrester's
death but issued a brief statement describing him as "a cherished leader,
co-worker and friend. Although we are mourning the loss of Rick, Forrester
remains a strong, well-established company that will continue to service our
current and future clients."
