Dranoff backs condo project at Two Liberty Place

Carl Dranoff of Dranoff Properties is backing another luxury condominium project for sale in Philadelphia: Two Liberty Place's top ten floors, which were previously going to be turned into a hotel, will now be renovated into for-sale condos.

This represents the third recently-announced condo project for Dranoff. The others are SLS International on Broad Street, and One Riverside, which was previously rental apartments, at 25th and Locust.

It's another sign of a hot market for high-end condos. Tom Scannapieco, president of Scannapieco Development, is building multi-million-dollar condos at 500 Walnut Street with prices ranging at $4 million-$13 million.
