Another great Philadelphia contractor recognized for their achievements and success, not just in business, but in our community. Congratulations Angelo Perryman and company!

The Urban League of Philadelphia has selected Perryman Building and Construction Services, Inc. as the recipient of the 2014 Spirit of Innovation Award.  The award is presented annually to an African American owned business that have not just achieved great success for its own bottom line but has provided men and women of color in the communities it serves with opportunities for access to economic equality; spearheading greater economic inclusion and growth for the Philadelphia region.

The Urban League has a long history in Philadelphia of connecting businesses and community for regional economic growth with goals to inspire and advance positive public and private sector policy change, to advance success in the workplace, and to empower greater financial self-reliance among communities of color.

"This is a great recognition for businesses who take pride in doing business with integrity, hard work, and concern for the community.  The founders' (Jimmie and Bessie Perryman) philosophy was simple; 'a quality job performed by quality people always counts' speaks to our belief that if you prepare yourself, everyone has something to offer," said Angelo Perryman, President/CEO. "We are so proud of our team."
