injured in a building collapse Thursday in Buckingham Township
Representatives
from OSHA are looking into what caused a building to collapse on an
unidentified construction worker Thursday morning. The collapse occurred
at a building in the Heritage Center development off York Road.
According to Jim Kettler, Buckingham Township Fire Marshal, representatives from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) were at the scene of the collapse Thursday and were expected there again Friday.
OSHA is looking in the cause and the operational practices at the site, Kettler said.
A construction worker was trapped for an hour under the building, which was in construction, after it collapsed around 8:45 a.m. The man was taken by helicopter to the hospital, according to emergency responders.
