Equus Capital Partners Ltd. of Philadelphia sold a
distribution center in Winchester, Va., for $27.7 million just a little over a
year after constructing it.
Equus, which used to be known as BPG Properties Ltd., sold
the 450,000-square-foot building to Cole Real Estate Investments. Michael Hines
and Brian Fiumara of CBRE arranged the transaction.
Equus finished the building, which can be expanded by
300,000 square feet, in September 2013. It is fully leased to McKesson Corp.
“The caliber of the tenant and the current market conditions
resulted in an extraordinary level of investor interest for this newly
completed, expandable, state–of-the-art distribution center,” said Christopher
J. Locatell, senior vice president at Equus, in a statement.
