A partnership consisting of two New York firms paid $185
million for 1500 Spring Garden St. in Philadelphia.
Nightingale Properties along with Carlton Associates Inc.
bought the 12-story, 1.1-million-square-foot office building, according to
people familiar with the transaction. The building is 88 percent leased to
tenants including Day & Zimmermann and CBS Broadcasting. Nightingale has an
ownership interest in 1700 Market St. in Center City.
The property was put up for sale this summer and Jones Lang
LaSalle arranged the transaction. Square Mile Capital Management of New York
was the seller.
