Drexel University has completed the construction of its new $92 million building to house the LeBow College of Business.

The 12-story, 177,500-square-foot Gerri C. LeBow Hall stands at 33rd and Market streets in University City.

The official opening of the building is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday. It will serve as an opportunity to also allow Drexel to announce that LeBow College of Business will have a new school of economics that will not only offer a doctoral program in economics but master’s degrees as well.

The new building was designed by Voith Mactavish Associates of Philadelphia and Robert A. M. Stern Associates of New York. Its facade has 67,000 square feet of limestone complimented with glass.
