Teachers in at least 3 Pa. districts on strike

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Teachers in at least three Pennsylvania districts are on strike.
Officials canceled classes Tuesday in the Old Forge School District and Wyoming Area School District in northeastern Pennsylvania and Shaler Area School District outside Pittsburgh.
Officials say that under state law, all instructional days lost due to the walkouts must be made up by the end of June of next year.
Elsewhere, the school year began as scheduled in many of the state's 500 districts, though some began classes before Labor Day.
