PennnDOT awards almost 17 million in local road improvement contracts to ease local Route 422 Traffic Congestion at Route 363 Interchange:

As reported on Pennsylvania State Representetive Mike Vereb’s facebook page: “PennDOT has awarded a more than $16.8 million contract to improve the U.S. Route 422/Route 363 (Trooper Road) interchange in West Norriton and Lower Providence townships by constructing two additional ramps.

The construction will begin this fall with the addition of an off-ramp from eastbound Route 422 onto Route 363 and an on-ramp from Route 363 to westbound Route 422.

The project also will repair the existing Route 422 off-ramp to Route 363, widen Route 363 through the Audubon Road intersection, rehabilitate the Route 363 bridge over Route 422 and widen Audubon Road to include an additional turn and merge lane from Route 363.”
