Penn National Gaming releases proposal for I-76 ramp

Penn National Gaming announced plans for a direct westbound access ramp to I-76 West from its 700 Packer Avenue proposed location. The proposed ramp would be located off of 7th Street, just north of Packer Ave.
Penn National has said that it would pick up the entire $3 million tab to build the ramp if it wins Philadelphia's coveted second casino license.
“It became very apparent to us in early meetings with residents of surrounding neighborhoods that westbound I-76 access traffic is a current and future concern for them. In turn, we also want to better the ease of access to and from our site for our customers without interruption by events taking place in the stadium district. We feel this is a win-win for the area,” said Penn National’s Vice President for Public Affairs, Karen Bailey.
Another proposed casino, Market8 released its latest rendering ahead of Tuesday's discussion from the City of Philadelphia about the casino projects.
