Binswanger, a Philadelphia real estate brokerage, has arranged a joint venture with the Shopping Center Group to form a new venture called the Retail Logistics Group.
The new affiliate will advise retailers on site location strategies for distribution centers by taking into account mapping, demographics and psychographics as well as an analysis of labor, cost, logistics, operating environment, quality of life and incentives.
Jeff Binswanger, president of Binswanger, and David Birnbrey, co-chief executive officer of the Shopping Center Group, which is based in Atlanta, will lead the new venture.
